At Mahon's Hotel · Mill Street, Irvinestown, Co. Fermanagh, BT94 1GS
Mahon’s Hotel books live music in its bar on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, and publishes the acts a month at a time on its own website rather than confirming a full season in advance. The hotel rotates local and regional performers across the three nights instead of running a resident act, so the room changes character from one night to the next: country and covers acts on the weekend, and a quieter Sunday session. Mahon’s describes itself as the oldest family-run, family-owned hotel in Northern Ireland, trading since 1883, and the bar functions as the main social space for Irvinestown as well as for hotel guests.
The published August 2026 schedule names Klass Act on Sunday 16 August, Conor Owens on Friday 21 August, Senators on Saturday 22 August and Dara on Sunday 23 August. The final weekend of the month has Micky Cassidy on Friday 28 August, Gareth and Shauna McStravock on Saturday 29 August and The Good Guys on Sunday 30 August. Friday 14 and Saturday 15 August are listed without an act. Start times and any admission charge are not published with the listings, so ring the hotel before travelling for a specific night. Beyond August the hotel had not posted a September schedule at the time of writing, though the Friday to Sunday pattern has run consistently through the year.
Irvinestown is on the A32, roughly 20 minutes north of Enniskillen and close to St Angelo Airfield. Mahon’s Hotel is in the town itself with on-site parking for guests and visitors, and the town centre is compact enough to walk between the pubs. From Belfast take the A4 to Enniskillen then the A32 north, and from Dublin the N3 through Cavan and Belturbet into Enniskillen. Irvinestown makes a practical base for the northern end of Lower Lough Erne and Castle Archdale.
