At Bridge House Bar · Bridge Street, Tullamore, Co. Offaly
Super Sundays is the Bridge House Bar’s weekly Sunday session on Bridge Street in Tullamore, with DJ Kaff on the decks alongside live music and a run of drinks promotions. It closes out the bar’s weekend, which starts with Ladies Night and DJ Enda James on Friday and the live band night on Saturday, and the bar’s late licence covers Thursday through Sunday, so Sunday still runs past ordinary closing rather than winding down early.
The Bridge House Bar was refurbished recently and is one of the larger bar rooms in Tullamore, part of the same Bridge Street complex as the Bridge House Hotel and the Palace nightclub. Palace opens on Saturdays and on bank holiday Sundays rather than every Sunday, so on most Sunday nights the bar is where the night stays. Above the bar, the Penthouse is a separate room with its own dance floor and bar, used for private hire rather than regular Sunday admission. There is no advertised door charge for the bar, and tables can be reserved by phone.
The Bridge House Bar is on Bridge Street in the middle of Tullamore, beside the Grand Canal harbour and within a short walk of the town’s hotels and restaurants. There is no dedicated bar car park, but town centre public car parks are nearby and taxis rank in the centre. Tullamore railway station on the Dublin Heuston to Galway line is about 20 minutes on foot, though Sunday evening services are limited. More listings for Tullamore and across Co. Offaly.
