O2 Nightclub Gorey Saturday Night DJ

At O2 Nightclub · 64 Main Street, Gorey, Co. Wexford

A DJ playing to a crowded dancefloor in a town nightclub

What to Expect

O2 is the nightclub floor of a three-venue complex at 64 Main Street in Gorey, sharing a building with the 64 Lounge and Nel Sweeney’s bar. It opens every Saturday night with doors from 11pm, and also trades on bank holiday Sundays, which makes it the main late-night option in north Wexford rather than one of several. The room is built around a large dancefloor, with a designated smoking area and a VIP section that the venue hires out for functions, birthdays and private parties.

The music comes from guest DJs rather than a fixed resident, and the venue’s own description promises the region’s best DJs on the decks, running a mainstream club set of chart, dance and party tracks rather than anything specialist. Most people start the night downstairs: Nel Sweeney’s opens from noon on Saturdays and runs to 2am, and bar food is served from noon to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays, so the complex works as a full evening rather than just a late stop. Admission prices and any drinks promotions are not published on the website and are posted instead to the venue’s Facebook and Instagram pages, which are also where late changes, special events and teen disco dates get announced. Gorey draws a crowd from across north Wexford and south Wicklow on a Saturday, so expect queues at the door around midnight on busy weekends and bank holidays.
