At Palace Venue & Nightclub · Bridge Street, Tullamore, Co. Offaly
Daytime Disco Ireland runs its Motown Day Party at Palace Venue & Nightclub on Bridge Street, Tullamore on Saturday 10 October 2026. Doors are at 3pm and the event finishes at 8pm, with last entry at 5pm. The whole point of the format is that it is a full club night compressed into the afternoon and early evening, so you get the nightclub, the sound system and the dance floor without the 2am finish, and you are home at a reasonable hour.
The set is wall to wall Motown, soul, funk and classic groove, played by a DJ rather than a live band, and the promoter is clear that it sticks to the big records rather than deep cuts. Tickets are sold in releases and the price steps up as each one sells, so buying early is cheaper: the first two releases at €12.50 and €15 have already sold out and the third at €17.50 is around seventy per cent gone at time of writing, with the fourth at €20 and a final release at €22.50. A €2.50 booking fee applies to each ticket. A group package is available at €12.50 a head for bookings of ten or more. The event is strictly over 18s and photographic ID may be requested on the door. Tickets are non refundable but can be transferred to someone else.
Palace is on Bridge Street in the centre of Tullamore, beside the Grand Canal harbour and a short walk from the town’s pubs, restaurants and hotels. There is no car park at the venue, but town centre public car parks are close by. Tullamore railway station is on the Dublin Heuston to Galway line, around 20 minutes on foot, and the afternoon finish means the evening trains are still running.
