Leaving Cert Results Night at Crown Live

At Crown Live, Crown Quarter · Monck Street, Wexford Town, Co. Wexford, Y35 XC95

A crowded club night in a town-centre music venue

What to Expect

Crown Live puts on a Leaving Cert Results Night on Friday 21 August, timed to the week the 2026 results land. The venue’s own listing frames it simply: get your results and celebrate in style. Results nights are a fixture of the Irish August calendar, and Crown Live is the main dedicated live and club room on Monck Street, which is where most of Wexford town’s late-night trade is concentrated.

Crown Live sits inside the Crown Quarter complex, which runs several bars under one roof including the street-facing Crown Front Bar, the covered Garden Bar and Kitty’s Bar, with Jasper’s Restaurant on site for food earlier in the evening. That gives a results night somewhere to start and somewhere to finish without leaving the building. The venue has not published a door time or a ticket price for the night, and tickets are sold through Universe rather than at the door, so book online in advance and check the ticket for the start time. Expect age checks: a Leaving Cert results night draws a mostly 17 and 18 year old crowd, and Irish licensing law means anyone under 18 cannot be served alcohol, so the venue will operate whatever admission policy it has set for the night. Confirm that directly with Crown Quarter on 053 912 1480 before buying if the age policy matters to you.

Getting There

Monck Street runs through Wexford town centre, a couple of minutes on foot from Main Street, the Bullring and the quays. O’Hanrahan station on Redmond Square is about a ten-minute walk, served by Irish Rail from Dublin Connolly and Rosslare Europort. By road it is roughly an hour and forty minutes from Dublin on the M11 and N11, and about 45 minutes from Rosslare Europort on the N25. There is very little parking on Monck Street itself, so use the town-centre car parks and arrange a taxi or a lift home.
