What to Expect

RaveWerk bring Ravez’R’Us to The Loft, the upstairs room at Seven Bar on Bridge Street, for a night of techno, hardgroove and underground sounds. The lineup is Azrael, 3PL, H1GGO, Izzy and Philly, with doors at 8.45pm, music from 9pm and the night running to 2am. The Loft is a small room rather than a big club floor, which is the point: the promoters describe driving grooves and high energy sets in an intimate club atmosphere, and the sound sits close to the crowd.

Galway’s electronic scene runs mostly on promoter nights like this one rather than on permanent club programming, so the calendar moves between Seven, The Cellar, Electric and Roisin Dubh depending on who is putting the night on. Getting There

Bridge Street runs between the Spanish Arch end of the city and the Wolfe Tone Bridge, a five minute walk from Shop Street and about ten minutes from Eyre Square. Ceannt Station and the coach stands on Fairgreen Road are the arrival points for rail and intercity coaches. Street parking around Bridge Street is limited at night; the Jurys and Corbett Court car parks are the nearest options, and taxi ranks work Eyre Square and the Dominick Street side of the river at closing time.
