At Atlantic Technological University Sligo · Ash Lane, Sligo, Co. Sligo
Only the published dates are confirmed for this programme.
Atlantic Technological University Sligo opens its campus to prospective students on two dates this autumn: Thursday 5 November and Saturday 7 November 2026, both running from 10am to 1pm. The Open Days give second-level students, mature students and their families a chance to see the campus first-hand before CAO and course-choice decisions are finalised later in the academic year.
Visitors can walk the campus, sit in on informal talks and speak directly with academic staff and current students from across ATU Sligo’s programme areas, including Business and Social Sciences, Engineering and Computing, Design, Science, Education, Home Economics, Food Business, and Nursing. The format is designed for browsing rather than a fixed schedule, so people can head straight to the departments and courses that interest them and ask questions on the spot. Parents and guardians are explicitly encouraged to attend alongside prospective students, and staff are on hand to talk through entry requirements, course structure and student supports as well as academics. Both dates run to the same 10am to 1pm format, so anyone who cannot make the Thursday date has a second chance on the Saturday.
ATU Sligo’s campus is on Ash Lane in Sligo town, accessible by road from the town centre and well signposted locally. On-campus parking is available for visitors on the day.
An Open Day visit is a natural excuse to see more of Sligo town itself, a short drive or walk from the campus. There is more to see in Sligo and across Co. Sligo.
