Larchill Country Market

At Larchill Arcadian Gardens · Larchill Arcadian Gardens, Kilcock, Co. Kildare

Country market stalls at Larchill Arcadian Gardens near Kilcock, County Kildare

What to Expect

Larchill Arcadian Gardens runs its Country Market on the middle Sunday of August, opening the gates at 10am and closing at 2pm. The market is listed on the Larchill events programme as a National Heritage Week event, which places it alongside the venue’s other heritage programming that week rather than treating it as a standalone trading day. Admission is €2 and children go free, and the ticket covers entry to the gardens as well as the market itself.

This is a four hour, one morning event rather than a weekly fixture, so it draws a different crowd to the venue’s regular car boot mornings. The market sits within the grounds of Larchill, a landscaped 18th century garden estate outside Kilcock that opens to the public through the summer season. Larchill runs a short cluster of market and sale dates across August and early September, so the Country Market is one of four reasons to visit the site in a three week stretch.
