Kildare Biodiversity Conference 2026

At The Keadeen Hotel · Ballymany, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, W12 T925

Biodiversity conference at a hotel conference room in Newbridge, County Kildare

What to Expect

Kildare Wildlife Rescue runs its biodiversity conference over two days at the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October 2026, with registration from 8.30am. The programme brings together specialists, conservation volunteers and community groups to work through what is happening to local flora and fauna, and what practical protection looks like at county level.

The format is a mix of expert presentations and panel discussions rather than field trips, covering both plant and animal life across the county. The organisers say CPD points may be available for the Sunday sessions, though that was still being confirmed at the time of listing, so anyone attending for professional development should check before booking. This is an in person conference at a single venue rather than a hybrid or streamed event. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite and refunds are available up to 14 days before the conference. The full programme and speaker list is published on the conference’s own site at kildarebiodiversityconference.ie.
