Londonderry Chamber of Commerce runs its North West Future of Energy Conference and Exhibition at the White Horse Hotel on Wednesday 18 November 2026, a half day event covering the practical and policy questions facing businesses and households in the North West as the region moves toward renewable and lower carbon energy. The conference runs from 9am to 2:30pm and combines conference style sessions with an exhibition space, so alongside the speaker programme there is a trade floor of exhibitors covering renewables, grid infrastructure and energy efficiency for businesses to walk around between sessions. It draws a mix of business owners, facilities managers, energy suppliers and public sector attendees given the scale of investment and change under way in energy policy across Ireland and the UK. Exhibition stands are available to book separately from conference attendance for businesses wanting a presence at the trade floor rather than just a delegate seat. As one of the Chamber’s set piece annual conferences alongside events like the President’s Dinner, it is aimed at a business and policy audience rather than the general public, though anyone with a professional interest in energy supply, sustainability or infrastructure in the North West is a natural fit for the day.
The White Horse Hotel is on the Clooney Road on the outskirts of Derry, close to the airport road and around ten minutes’ drive from the city centre. The hotel has its own large car park for conference and exhibition visitors.
