What to Expect

Carndonagh Country Market trades at Colgan Hall in the centre of Carndonagh on the first and third Friday of every month, opening at 12:30pm. Getting There

Carndonagh sits on the R238, the main road looping around the Inishowen peninsula, roughly forty minutes from Derry and an hour from Letterkenny. Local Link and regional bus services stop in the town centre. Colgan Hall is within a few minutes’ walk of the Diamond, with on-street and nearby town centre parking for market visitors. The Donagh Cross and the other early Christian carved stones at the Diamond are a short walk away, so a market visit combines easily with a look at one of Inishowen’s best known heritage sites.
