Coalisland Halloween falls on Saturday 31 October 2026, Halloween night itself, and is run by Mid Ulster District Council as part of its Halloween programme for the district. The council has confirmed the date and confirmed that the event is free, but at the time of writing the venue, start time and programme are all listed as still to be confirmed, with the listing carrying the council’s standard note that more detail follows nearer the time.
Coalisland shares its date with the council’s Maghera event, and follows Cookstown on 24 October and Dungannon on 30 October, so the district’s Halloween programme runs across three separate nights. Coalisland is a compact town in east Tyrone between Dungannon and the western shore of Lough Neagh, with its own strong local identity built on its industrial past, and council events here are usually town-centre affairs rather than out-of-town sites. Coalisland is in east Tyrone, about four miles north east of Dungannon and close to the western shore of Lough Neagh. It is reached on the A45 from Dungannon, and by the M1 at junctions 12 and 13 for anyone coming from Belfast or Portadown, with the B161 running north towards Stewartstown. The town centre is small and walkable, with public parking around The Square and Main Street. Ulsterbus services link Coalisland with Dungannon and Cookstown. As with any Halloween night event, expect town centre parking to fill early and allow for possible temporary road closures.
