What to Expect

Soccer Stars Southeast runs weekly football classes for children aged 18 months to five years across County Wexford. The sessions are deliberately non-competitive: no scores, no teams, no pressure. The focus is coordination, balance and confidence with a ball, delivered through games rather than drills, and parents are expected to take part alongside the youngest age groups rather than watch from the sideline.

The main Wexford town venue is The Faythe, where classes run on Saturday mornings from 9.45am to 12.45pm, split into age bands across that window. There are three other venues in the county. Gaelscoil Inis Corthaidh in Enniscorthy runs on Saturdays, with Soccer Mini’s from 9am to 10am and Soccer Stars from 11am. Kilanerin Community Centre at Killinierin in north Wexford runs on Sundays from 10am to 12pm. Kiltealy Community Centre runs on Thursdays from 4pm to 5pm, with the autumn block starting on 4 September and prices from €50, jersey €20 extra. Fees at the other venues vary, so check when you book.

Getting There

The Faythe is a residential area just south of Wexford town centre, a short walk up from Crescent Quay and the Bull Ring. Wexford O’Hanrahan railway station is about fifteen minutes away on foot. Drivers can park on the surrounding streets or in the quay car parks and walk up. Enniscorthy and Kiltealy are reached off the N11 and R702, and Killinierin sits close to the M11 in the north of the county.
