Retro Con Wexford 2026

At Whites of Wexford · Abbey Street, Wexford Town, Co. Wexford

Collectables and retro memorabilia stalls at a pop culture convention

What to Expect

Retro Con Wexford is a first outing for the town, a pop culture convention running across Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August 2026 at Whites of Wexford. It covers classic film and television, gaming, comics and retro entertainment, and the organisers have been explicit about the intention behind it: a convention where grandparents, parents and children could all enjoy the same thing at the same time.

The guest list reflects that. Diane Youdale, Jet from Gladiators, and Julie Dawn Cole, Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, are joined by three cast members from ‘Allo ‘Allo!, Guy Siner, Richard Gibson and Kim Hartman. The weekend runs autograph sessions, photo opportunities, live interviews and question and answer sessions, and the billed highlight is an exclusive Sunday afternoon live interview reunion with the ‘Allo ‘Allo! cast.

Around the guest programme there are cosplay competitions, retro gaming stations and more than 35 vendors selling collectables, memorabilia and handmade items, with Lego, trading cards, Warhammer, comics and artists’ tables all represented. Tickets start from €12 per person, with guest photo and autograph sessions typically charged separately at conventions of this type, so check the ticket page for what each tier includes.
