At Cleeves Factory · O'Callaghan's Strand, Limerick, Co. Limerick
Only the published dates are confirmed for this programme.
The Scare Factory returns to Cleeves Factory on O’Callaghan’s Strand for the 2026 Halloween season, running nightly from 15 October through to 1 November with entry between 7pm and 9:30pm each evening. The immersive walkthrough experience takes over part of the old Cleeves condensed milk factory building on the banks of the Shannon, one of Limerick’s more atmospheric industrial spaces, and turns it into a haunted attraction for the two and a half week run up to and including Halloween.
Organisers describe an all new route and cast of characters for this year’s run, promising new scenes and scares compared to previous seasons. It is a walkthrough format rather than a seated show, with visitors led through a series of themed rooms and corridors by live performers, and it is aimed squarely at those looking for a proper scare rather than a family friendly Halloween outing. Given that it runs every night from mid October to the first of November, it functions as one of the anchor Halloween attractions in Limerick city each October, alongside the usual seasonal pop up costume shops and pumpkin displays around town. The venue does not accept payment at the door, so tickets need to be booked online in advance, and the organiser operates a strict no refund policy once a booking is made.
Cleeves Factory sits on O’Callaghan’s Strand on the Shannon’s south bank, a short walk from Sarsfield Bridge and Limerick city centre. On street parking is available along the strand, with further parking in the city centre a few minutes’ walk away.
