Halloween ScareFest 2026

Halloween ScareFest takes place at The Factory Southside Youthspace in Limerick City on Thursday, 29 October 2026, from 4pm to 6pm. The afternoon brings together a scare maze, music and children’s activities at Galvone Business Park.

What’s included

Children can try the interactive games, have their faces painted, follow a ghost hunt around The Factory and listen to the live DJ. Each child ticket includes a goodie bag. Completing the ghost-hunt challenge gives participants an entry into the Halloween prize draw.

Irish Clouds is also running a candy floss workshop where children make purple and orange candy floss and receive a themed certificate. The workshop is limited to 40 children. Reserve the free workshop place separately when booking a child admission ticket.

Tickets and adult supervision

Admission costs €5 per child. Accompanying adults attend free, but each adult must select a free Accompanying Adult ticket during booking. Advance booking is required through the organiser’s Eventbrite page.

Children must stay under the supervision of a parent, guardian or responsible adult throughout the event. The organiser lists free parking and refunds up to seven days before the event.

Is the scare maze suitable for your child?

The maze is recommended for ages 8 and over. It includes live scare actors, dark and blackout areas, flashing and strobe lights, loud noises and frightening scenes. Parents and guardians should decide whether these effects suit their child.

Children can skip the maze and enjoy the other activities. The wider event is intended for families, so entering the maze is optional.

The Factory Southside Youthspace delivers ScareFest in association with Limerick City and County Council, as part of Halloween in Limerick and Ireland Home of Halloween. Check the booking page for current ticket and workshop availability before travelling.
