Kilmore and Drumsnatt Summer Camp 2026

At Sean McDermotts GAA Complex · Threemilehouse, Co. Monaghan

What to Expect

Kilmore and Drumsnatt Sports Activity Hub runs its 2026 summer camp at the Sean McDermotts GAA Complex in Threemilehouse across the week of Monday 17 to Friday 21 August, with each day running from 9.30am to 2pm. It lands in the last full week of the school holidays, which makes it one of the later options in the county for parents trying to cover the run-in to the new term.

The organisers have kept the online listing deliberately short, and the booking page carries the dates and daily times rather than a detailed timetable of activities. Bookings are handled through Eventbrite, and the listing carries a no refunds policy, so it is worth being certain of the week before you book a place. The hub is the community sports arm covering the Kilmore and Drumsnatt area west of Monaghan town, and the camp runs out of the local GAA grounds rather than a school hall, so expect the bulk of the day to be spent outdoors on the pitches. Anyone who needs the age range, the daily plan or the fee should contact the hub directly through the booking page before paying, since none of those details are published in the listing.

Getting There

Threemilehouse is a small village a short drive south west of Monaghan town on the R189 towards Newbliss and Clones, and the GAA complex is signposted locally. Monaghan town is the nearest base for anyone travelling in, with Bus Eireann services on the N2 Dublin to Derry corridor stopping at the town bus station. There is no useful scheduled bus to the village itself, so drop-off and collection will need a car. Parking is on site at the grounds.
