Dr Richard Hogan brings Parenting the Screenager to the Moat Theatre in Naas on Sunday 18 October 2026, running from 8pm to 9pm. The talk deals with the practical problems of raising teenagers in a screen dominated house. The listed subject matter covers social media, bullying, body image, online pornography, exams and teenage anxiety, worked through with case studies rather than delivered as theory. The stated aim is to give parents usable strategies: how to strengthen communication with a teenager who has gone quiet, how to set boundaries around devices that actually hold, and how to read the behaviour behind the conflict.
