At The Moat Theatre · Abbey Road, Naas, Co. Kildare
Joe the Magician plays the Moat Theatre in Naas on Saturday 3 October 2026 at 1pm, a 70 minute show of comedy magic and illusion pitched at children aged 4 and up but written to keep the adults in the room entertained too.
Joe is best known as the star of Dizzy Deliveries on RTEjr, in which a magical delivery man uses Lamh sign language. The series is the most watched programme on RTEjr and the most streamed on the RTE Player, and its three seasons have gathered more than 75 million views on YouTube, so a fair proportion of the audience will arrive already knowing him. The live show leans on visual set pieces rather than card tricks: a dancing ghost, a mind-reading duck, a box that bends reality, and a live snowstorm on stage. The theatre notes that Joe’s shows have sold out across Ireland and the UK and recommends booking early.
The Moat Theatre is on Abbey Road in the centre of Naas, a couple of minutes’ walk from the Main Street. Leave the M7 at junction 9 or junction 10 and follow the town centre signs. There is parking at the Moat and in the town centre car parks, but a Saturday lunchtime is one of the busier windows in Naas, so allow extra time. Sallins and Naas station, about 4km from the centre on the Heuston to Kildare and Cork line, is the nearest rail option, with buses and taxis running into the town. Bus routes also connect Naas with Dublin, Newbridge and Kilcullen.
