Halloween Workshop for Kids at The Rediscovery Centre

What to expect

Facilitators lead a run of Halloween-themed games, simple science experiments and arts and crafts, pitched as hands-on spooky fun rather than a sit-down craft class, so children move between activities through the session. The workshop takes place in the Boilerhouse, the converted industrial building in Ballymun that is home to the Rediscovery Centre, Ireland’s National Centre for the Circular Economy, whose regular programme leans towards repair, reuse and making rather than seasonal one-offs, which makes this a slightly different outing from its usual sewing, bike maintenance and furniture workshops. The Rediscovery Centre is based at The Boilerhouse, Ballymun Road, Dublin 9. There is no Luas or DART service to Ballymun, so Dublin Bus is the practical route in, with services running along the Ballymun Road corridor into the city centre. On-site parking is available at the centre.
