Waterfront Studio’s Christmas pantomime for 2026 is a family production of Sleeping Beauty, running from Friday, 20 November 2026 to Sunday, 10 January 2027. Show times are set by the organiser and should be checked before booking. Waterfront Studio is at 2 Lanyon Place in the city centre.
Waterfront Studio’s listing describes a modern take on the fairy tale with colourful characters, slapstick comedy, a popular music soundtrack, audience participation and a festive spectacle with local Belfast flavour. The venue says the songs and set are intended for children and the humour for adults. Relaxed performances are scheduled during the run, along with a dementia-friendly performance on Sunday, 27 December 2026. Sensory facilities, including a cooldown area and sensory packs, are available, and Babes in Arms tickets are offered for children under 12 months. Under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.
Waterfront Studio is at 2 Lanyon Place, within a 10-minute walk of Belfast city centre. Lanyon Place train station is about five minutes’ walk away, and the Laganside Bus Centre is roughly two minutes from the door, with a bus stop on Oxford Street directly outside the building on the main Glider routes. Car parks at Lanyon Place, Oxford Street and Montgomery Street are nearby, though all are independently run.
