Streamvale Open Farm on the edge of east Belfast runs its Halloween Pumpkin Patch every day from Saturday 3 to Saturday 31 October 2026, with ticketed sessions running from morning through to evening depending on the date. Families pick their own pumpkin from the patch, transport it back by wheelbarrow, and have it carved to their own design by staff in the farm’s marquee, with the carved pumpkin included in the ticket price rather than sold separately. Beyond the pumpkin picking itself, the farm lists a Broomtastic Disco, the immersive Hanwood House, the Spooky Sisters’ Sweet Shop, maize tractor rides, monster mask making and the farm’s usual play areas, making it a half-day-or-more outing rather than a quick photo stop. It has built a reputation as one of the more established Halloween attractions in the greater Belfast area, drawing families from across County Antrim and beyond during the October mid-term period, and because it runs across the whole month rather than a single weekend, demand spreads out more comfortably than for a one-off event. Streamvale operates this as a ticket-only event during the pumpkin patch dates, meaning visitors cannot simply turn up and pay on the gate as they might for a normal farm visit, so booking ahead through the farm’s website is essential rather than optional. Session times and exact pricing vary by date and age group, with separate rates for toddlers, children, adults, students, seniors and carers, plus family bundle tickets for groups of four to six.
Streamvale Open Farm is on Ballyhanwood Road on the eastern edge of Belfast, close to Dundonald, with on-site parking for visitors arriving by car. It is a short drive from the A20 and A21 routes into east Belfast.
