At Granny Grahams · Coolshannagh Roundabout, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan, H18 KF51
Women Together Monaghan is a new social group for women in the county, and this is its second gathering after an opening meet-up that sold out. It runs at Granny Grahams at the Coolshannagh roundabout on the edge of Monaghan town on Saturday 15 August 2026, from 2pm to 3pm. The format is deliberately plain: an hour over coffee, no speakers, no programme, no structured activity, described by the organisers as a relaxed and welcoming afternoon of conversation, connection and community.
The group is aimed at women who want to widen their social circle locally, whether they are new to the area or have simply found their circle has narrowed. The organisers have set out where they want to take it beyond coffee: walks, concerts, day trips, a choir, and sunrise or sunset gatherings are all on the list of things being planned. Attendance is free but booking through Eventbrite is required, purely so the venue can set out the right number of seats. The organisers note that attendance at group events is voluntary and at each participant’s own discretion and responsibility. Coming alone is normal here rather than awkward, since the whole point of the group is that most people arrive not knowing anyone.
Granny Grahams sits at the Coolshannagh roundabout on the northern edge of Monaghan town, where the N2 and N54 meet, with parking on site. It is a short drive or a brisk walk out from the centre of town. Monaghan town bus station is served by Bus Eireann coaches on the N2 Dublin to Derry corridor as well as local county services, and Coolshannagh is on the main road out towards Armagh and Aughnacloy.
