Made in Tennessee comes to Dean Crowe Theatre in Athlone on Friday, 16 October 2026, at 8pm.
Soul Street Productions presents the UK-based band’s country music show, which the venue says takes audiences from the genre’s southern United States roots through to its contemporary stars. Expect songs associated with Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks and Carrie Underwood alongside material from newer names such as Kacey Musgraves and Chris Stapleton, rather than a tribute act built around a single artist. It runs as a full band show rather than an acoustic set, covering several decades of the genre across one evening. Doors open one hour before the show, and once bought, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Dean Crowe Theatre is on Chapel Street, Athlone, County Westmeath, N37 VF29. Parking is available within a five minute walk at nearby car parks.
Athlone makes an easy base for more than the show: the Old Rail Trail follows the old railway line out of town for walkers and cyclists, and boats run up the Shannon to Hare Island in the mornings. The town itself sits roughly midway between Dublin and Galway, at the point where the river narrows enough to cross, which is why a Norman castle was built here in the first place. There is more to see in Athlone and across Westmeath.
