What to Expect

Pub Theatre Royale is four short plays in one evening at Theatre Royal Waterford on Thursday 20 August 2026. The theatre bills the work as raw, funny and unpredictable new writing that speaks directly to the audience, which is the register this ensemble has been working in. Getting There

The Theatre Royal is on The Mall in Waterford city centre, a two minute walk up from the Quay and close to the city centre bus stops. Approach by road on the M9 from Dublin or the N25 from Cork and Wexford. There is multi-storey and metered on-street parking within a few minutes’ walk. For rail travellers, Plunkett Station sits across the river on the north bank, about fifteen minutes on foot via Rice Bridge.
