Crystal Card Show Pop Up, Waterford

At St Patrick's Gateway Centre · Patrick Street, Waterford, Co. Waterford

Trading card vendors and collectors at a card show in Waterford city

What to Expect

Crystal Cards runs a trading card pop-up at St Patrick’s Gateway Centre on Saturday 3 October 2026. Doors open at 9.50am and the show runs from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free, though the organisers ask people to register a ticket in advance because floor space is limited.

The format is buying, selling and trading with vendors and other collectors across the day. The organisers deliberately keep the vendor count and the crowd modest so that there is time to actually talk to sellers rather than queue behind a scrum, which is the usual complaint about bigger card shows. It suits both established collectors working through want lists and people bringing in a box from the attic to find out what is in it. Children under 16 are welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, so it works as a Saturday morning outing for a family with someone in the house already deep in Pokemon or sports cards. The venue is a converted church dating from 1720, now run as a community and arts centre off Patrick Street, which gives the show a very different setting to a hotel function room.
