What to Expect

Rock Rising returns to Strule Arts Centre in Omagh on Friday 30 October 2026 at 8pm for its third consecutive year at the venue, following two previous sold-out nights. The touring production trades on volume and spectacle, with the billing promising “classic rock nostalgia, light shows and massive anthems” and describing itself as “THE BEST internationally touring rock show around”.

The show runs for two and a half hours, longer than most nights in Strule’s programme, and works through the standards of the classic rock canon with a full light rig rather than a stripped-back stage. The track record at this venue is the useful thing to know: two sell-outs in a row means the Halloween-weekend date is likely to go the same way, and last-minute tickets have not been reliably available in previous years.

Getting There

Strule Arts Centre is on Townhall Square in Omagh town centre, beside the river Strule. Omagh sits where the A5 Derry to Aughnacloy road meets the A32 from Enniskillen, roughly 70 miles from Belfast, 34 from Derry and 27 from Enniskillen. Council car parks at Kevlin Road, Church Street and the Showgrounds are all a few minutes’ walk from the venue, and a Friday night in the town centre is busy, so allow extra time. Omagh bus centre on Mountjoy Road is a short walk away with Ulsterbus and Translink Goldline services from Belfast, Derry, Enniskillen and Dublin. The arts centre bar opens before performances.
