Tadhg Devery: Pints, Dentures and Rock 'n' Roll

At Moat Theatre · Abbey Road, Naas, Co. Kildare

Character comedian Tadhg Devery performing at the Moat Theatre in Naas

What to Expect

Tadhg J Devery brings Pints, Dentures and Rock ‘n’ Roll to the Moat Theatre on Saturday 24 October 2026, the follow-up to his previous touring show. This is character comedy rather than conventional stand-up: Devery writes and performs the whole cast himself, switching between a set of rural Irish figures across the evening.

The roster includes Johnny Jelly-Tot Kelly, an unsuccessful musician still chasing the dream, and Brendan the Undertaker, who has an unorthodox approach to waste management. Alongside them are farmers, housewives, musicians, a plumber, an easily distracted garda and a burnt-out construction foreman. The venue describes the result as a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud night of rural Irish chaos. Character work of this kind depends on quick transitions holding the room, and a compact auditorium like the Moat’s suits it better than a large hall. Tickets are €27 plus a booking fee, sold through the theatre’s Ticketsolve system, and the show runs from 8:00 PM to around 10:00 PM.
