At The Spirit Store · Georges Quay, Dundalk, Co. Louth, A91 NR79

William Thompson brings his show Touch Grass to the Spirit Store on Sunday, 18 October 2026. Doors open at 7:30pm on Georges Quay in Dundalk, Co. Louth.
Thompson, known for his work with Lazyboyz and Tea With Me, built Touch Grass around social media’s real-world impact. He uses dark, provocative humour to examine online toxicity, asking whether trolls, incels and extremists really stay confined to their screens. The show has built a following online since clips from it went viral.
The Spirit Store is on Georges Quay in Dundalk town centre, Co. Louth, A91 NR79, a converted quayside store on the spot where the Castletown River meets the harbour. The venue runs a food menu Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm to 8pm and Sunday from 12pm to 6:30pm.
Dundalk is the county town of Louth, a working town of around 43,000 people built around St Patrick’s Cathedral and the old grid of Clanbrassil Street and the Long Walk. It’s also a border town: the M1 effectively runs out here, Newry is twelve kilometres up the road, and the Cooley Peninsula starts just five minutes on the other side of the bay. The Spirit Store itself is a multi-award-winning live venue whose stage has hosted acts including David Keenan, Beth Orton and Ash. See more of what’s on across the county on the Louth hub, or explore Dundalk itself.
