Cork stand-up Chris Kent brings his show That’s All I Need Now! to the Spirit Store in Dundalk on Friday, 16 October 2026, with doors from 7:30pm.
This is the first of three Chris Kent shows the Spirit Store has put on for That’s All I Need Now!: the original date sold out through the venue’s newsletter presale, so a Saturday matinee and a second Saturday evening show were added due to demand, with the second evening show also selling out. If this Friday date is unavailable, the Saturday matinee is the next option to check. Three sold-out or near-sold-out dates for one show is a fair sign of how in-demand Kent’s stand-up is at the moment, so anyone hoping to get in should book well ahead rather than leaving it to the door.
The Spirit Store is on Georges Quay, Dundalk (Eircode A91 NR79), on the waterfront a short walk from the town centre. The bar opens from midday on Fridays, with food served until 8pm, so there is time to eat before the 7:30pm doors.
Dundalk is the county town of Louth, a Norman-founded border town with a working main street and a live comedy and music scene built around venues like the Spirit Store on the quay. St Patrick’s Cathedral and the county museum, housed in an 18th-century distillery warehouse, are both close by if you want to make an afternoon of it before the show.
