Peak10 Challenge at Peak Fitness Carrickmacross

At Peak Fitness · Drummond Otra, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, A81 A2H4

Competitors working through a station at a functional fitness challenge event

What to Expect

Peak Fitness in Carrickmacross runs its ten-station fitness challenge on Saturday 15 August 2026, from 8am to noon, with doors from 7.30am. The format is straightforward: ten functional exercise stations that competitors work through, set up to test strength, endurance, speed and mental grit rather than any single discipline. The organisers describe it as high energy and open to all levels, which is the reason it is split the way it is.

There are two ways to scale it. Entrants pick either the novice format, aimed at people doing this kind of event for the first time, or the advanced format, and they can enter as singles or as a doubles team with a partner. That doubles option is the one worth knowing about for anyone unsure about tackling ten stations alone, since a pair can share the load across the circuit. Every finisher gets a medal, so it is closer to a participation event with a competitive edge than a pure elite competition. The event has been listed twice on Eventbrite under slightly different names, Peak10 and Power 10, for the same venue, date and start time, with the minimum age given as 14 on the fuller listing. Free parking is available at the gym and the listings carry a no refunds policy. The entry fee is not stated on the listing, so check the booking page or contact Peak Fitness directly.
