At Birr Theatre and Arts Centre · Oxmantown Mall, Birr, County Offaly
Only the published dates are confirmed for this programme.
Visions Of Floyd comes to Birr Theatre and Arts Centre on Saturday, 21 November 2026, at 8pm.
The Pink Floyd tribute show is led by singer and guitarist Ray Lanigan, who has more than thirty years of professional experience, alongside Clifford Evans on bass, Declan Landy on keyboards, Ken Mulligan on guitar and vocals, and Mark Walsh on drums and percussion. The five-piece recreate Pink Floyd’s sound with live music paired with visuals and a theatrical stage presentation, rather than a stripped-back covers set, so the evening leans on production as much as musicianship. Visit Offaly lists tickets at €25 plus a booking fee for the Birr performance, in a theatre setting rather than a large arena.
Birr Theatre and Arts Centre is on Oxmantown Mall, Birr, County Offaly.
Birr is a market town laid out early and stuck to since: in 1620 Lawrence Parsons set out streets on a grid, and that plan still shows in Emmet Square today. The town’s castle demesne, though the castle itself is not open to the public, holds the remains of the Leviathan of Parsonstown, a 72 inch reflecting telescope built in 1845 that was the largest in the world for 72 years, with its mirror now in London and its frame still standing in the gardens. Oxmantown Mall sits within walking distance of the square and the town’s pubs and restaurants, including Kelly’s Bar and The Chestnut. There is more to see in Birr and across Offaly.
