Music Bingo at The Rhode Inn

What to Expect

Rhode Community Centre takes over O’Tooles Lounge at The Rhode Inn on Saturday 15 August 2026 for a Music Bingo night. The format swaps numbers for songs: instead of a caller reading out figures, a clip of a track is played and players mark off the matching song on their card, with the first full line and full house winning as they would at ordinary bingo. It rewards knowing your music rather than watching a board, which makes it noisier and faster than a standard bingo night.

Doors open at 7.30pm with play starting at 8pm, and the night is scheduled to run to around 11.30pm. The organisers have said there are prizes throughout the evening rather than one main pot at the end, so late arrivals still have games to play for. The night is strictly for over-18s. Tickets are handled in advance through Eventbrite and the listing states that no refunds are given, so book only when you are sure of the date. This is a Rhode Community Centre event, part of the fundraising and social calendar the centre runs for the village.

Getting There

Rhode is a village in north Offaly on the R400, between Daingean and Edenderry and just south of the Tullamore to Edenderry road. From Tullamore, take the R402 towards Daingean and turn onto the R400; from Edenderry it is a straight run west on the R400. The Rhode Inn is on the village street with parking nearby and on-street spaces along the road. There is no evening bus service to Rhode, so arrange a lift or a taxi from Edenderry or Tullamore if you plan to drink.
