At Vicar Street · 58-59 Thomas Street, Dublin 8
Only the published dates are confirmed for this programme.
Mercury Rev play Vicar Street on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, with the bars open from 6:30pm and doors at 7:00pm.
The show, presented by Foggy Notions, marks 25 years since the release of Mercury Rev’s album All Is Dream. The band formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1989, and their following album, Deserter’s Songs, is regarded as a landmark of its era, named NME’s Album of the Year and later included in Pitchfork’s list of the 100 favourite records of the 1990s. The band has continued to evolve its sound across more than three decades, and this Dublin date is a rare chance to hear that catalogue played live in a seated venue built for close listening. It is a seated show throughout, which suits a band known as much for sweeping orchestral arrangements as for conventional rock instrumentation. Foggy Notions, the promoter behind the date, regularly brings cult and left field international acts to Dublin venues, and a 25th anniversary show for a specific album is the kind of one-off booking that does not repeat on a standard touring cycle.
