Tolu Makay - Solstice Arts Centre Navan

Tolu Makay performs at the Solstice Arts Centre in Navan on Thursday, 15 October 2026, at 8pm, as part of her People Still Cry In Summer tour. The Nigerian-Irish singer is known for blending alternative pop, soul and R&B, and for the emotional weight she brings to a live set.

What to expect

Makay built her name on Irish stages with a voice that carries a room and songs that move between the personal and the political, developing a following well beyond her home county through festival slots and radio play. Expect a set drawn from her recorded work, delivered in the kind of close, listening-room setting the Solstice is built for rather than a big-venue production. As with the venue’s other autumn shows, the exact support act and running time are confirmed nearer the date. The Navan date sits within a run of Irish arts-centre shows on the same tour, alongside similar mid-sized venues elsewhere in the country, reflecting the kind of close listening-room setting her current material suits best.

Getting there

The Solstice Arts Centre is on Railway Street in Navan town centre. Bus Eireann services connect Navan with Dublin and the surrounding towns, and the venue is a short walk from the main bus stops.
