Ralph McTell brings his final Irish tour, Somewhere Down the Road, to the Solstice Arts Centre in Navan on Saturday, 17 October 2026, at 8pm. The show marks more than five decades of songwriting from the Ivor Novello Award-winning writer behind Streets of London, and the date is now sold out.
The tour accompanies McTell’s new album, The Timedrift of the Road, which reworks songs from across his career with Irish-connected material and a set of new songs recorded with Irish artists. In the Solstice’s small auditorium, the show sits close to the audience, well suited to a set built on decades of storytelling songwriting rather than a big-stage production. Support and set details are published closer to the date on the venue’s own listing. The Solstice Arts Centre describes itself as Meath’s centre for the arts, and this concert ranks among its headline autumn 2026 bookings. McTell remains best known to Irish audiences for Streets of London, the song that has anchored his live shows across five decades of touring.
