Life Drawing in the Gallery is a six-week adult life drawing course at Solstice Arts Centre in Navan, running on Tuesday evenings from 15 September to 20 October 2026, 7pm to 9pm.
These relaxed sessions are an opportunity to flex life drawing skills and improve drawing practice. Participants engage at their own pace, focusing on drawing the human figure with a variation of models and props. Artist Sadhbh McElveen is on hand for guidance if needed, though Solstice Arts Centre notes the sessions are not recommended for complete beginners. The course runs across six Tuesday evenings: 15, 22 and 29 September, and 6, 13 and 20 October. Participants must bring their own drawing materials and paper of choice; chairs, drawing boards and light refreshments are provided. The course is for adults aged 16 and over, and costs €80 for the full six weeks or €15 for a single session, with a 10 percent discount available for students (contact the box office for the discounted rate).
Solstice Arts Centre programmes a diverse mix of music, theatre, visual arts, cinema and dance from local and international artists and companies, and includes a café and bar on site.
