At TF Royal Theatre · Old Westport Road, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, F23 R288
Zombie, billed by TF Royal as Ireland’s leading Cranberries tribute, play the Castlebar venue on Saturday 17 October 2026. The show works through the Limerick band’s catalogue, from the early singles to the songs that carried them internationally, and the venue frames it as a celebration of the music of one of Ireland’s greatest bands rather than a straight impersonation act.
Doors open at 8pm with the band on at 9pm, so this runs as a late show rather than an early-evening theatre slot. Tickets are €28 plus booking fees. TF Royal is a cashless venue and accepts major debit and credit cards at the bars and box office. Check your ticket for seating arrangements before travelling, as the room is configured differently depending on the show.
TF Royal sits on the Old Westport Road on the western approach to Castlebar, clearly signposted from the N5 and N60. There is a large free car park on site. Castlebar is about 20 minutes from Westport on the N5, 40 minutes from Ballina on the N57 and N5, and about an hour and a quarter from Galway city on the N84. Castlebar railway station on the Dublin Heuston to Westport line is roughly 15 minutes on foot, though the last train back to Dublin leaves long before a 9pm show finishes, so plan an overnight or a lift home if you are coming by rail. Bus Eireann routes from Galway, Sligo, Ballina and Dublin serve the town, and taxis rank in the town centre at weekends.
