The Bruno Groening Circle of Friends holds a free information lecture at Mayo Education Centre in Castlebar on Tuesday 25 August 2026, running from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. The talk is titled “Help and Healing on the Spiritual Path through the teaching of Bruno Groening” and sets out the group’s account of spiritual healing, using the teaching associated with the German healer Bruno Groening, who died in 1959 and whose followers now meet in groups across Europe. The hour-long format is an introduction rather than a healing session, aimed at people who have heard of the group and want to know what it actually does.
Anyone who wants to go further on the night can stay for a Community Hour, which runs afterwards from 7pm to 9:30pm in the same venue. Admission to the lecture is free, with donations accepted, and the organisers take online bookings through Humanitix as well as accepting people at the door. The event is listed on Mayo County Council’s public what’s on calendar. Mayo Education Centre is a working teacher education centre on the Westport Road with lecture rooms and parking on site, so it is a straightforward venue to find and to get into.
Mayo Education Centre is on the Westport Road on the western side of Castlebar, a short drive from the town centre and close to the N5 and N60 approaches. There is on-site parking at the centre. Castlebar is the county town and the best-served in Mayo for public transport, with Irish Rail services from Dublin Heuston and Westport and Bus Eireann routes from Galway, Sligo, Ballina and Westport, and the town centre is around a 20 minute walk away.
