Dundalk Dog Rescue hold their annual Golf Classic at Greenore Golf Club on Friday 11 September 2026. Team entry and tee times are arranged directly with the organisers, and the fee had not been published at the time of writing.
Greenore is a links course on the Cooley Peninsula with holes running along the shore of Carlingford Lough and the Mourne Mountains filling the view across the water. The club is at Greenore Village, Co. Louth, A91 RY10, and can be reached on 042 937 3212 or at info@greenoregolfclub.com. Dundalk Dog Rescue is a volunteer-run shelter that takes in stray and surrendered dogs across the Dundalk area, covers veterinary costs, and rehomes them, and the classic funds that work directly. Sponsorship of tee boxes and prizes is usually part of the format alongside team entries.
Greenore sits at the tip of the Cooley Peninsula on the southern shore of Carlingford Lough, about 25 kilometres from Dundalk on the R173 through Carlingford, roughly half an hour by car. From the M1, leave at Dundalk North and follow the coast road for Carlingford and Greenore. There is parking at the club, and the R173 approach is a single carriageway coast road, so allow extra time.
