Clogherhead RNLI Golf Classic 2026, County Louth Golf Club

At County Louth Golf Club · Baltray, Drogheda, Co. Louth

Golfers teeing off at a links course on the Louth coast

What to Expect

Clogherhead RNLI hold their annual Golf Classic at County Louth Golf Club in Baltray on Wednesday 26 August 2026, running from 9am to 3pm. Entry is €500 per team of four players with a meal included, and all players must be members of Golf Ireland. Teams book directly with County Louth Golf Club, and the organisers have said the timesheet and further details will be circulated closer to the day.

The venue is one of the reasons this fundraiser fills. County Louth Golf Club, universally called Baltray, is a championship links laid out on the dunes at the mouth of the Boyne, redesigned by Tom Simpson in the 1930s and a regular host of the East of Ireland Amateur Open. Clogherhead RNLI operates the all-weather lifeboat station at Port Oriel a few miles up the coast, and the classic is one of the station’s main fundraising days of the year. Donations and hole sponsorship are welcome alongside team entries.
