What to Expect

Getting There

The Carrickdale is on the old N1 at Carrickcarnan, north of Dundalk and just short of the border with Co. Armagh. Coming from the south, leave the M1 at junction 20 and follow the signs; from Newry, it is roughly a ten-minute drive south on the A1 and N1. There is a large free car park on site. Public transport is thin for an 8:30am start, so most people drive; a taxi from Dundalk town centre takes about fifteen minutes.
