Getting There

Ballymahon is in south Longford on the N55, the Athlone to Cavan road, about 20km south of Longford town and around 20km north of Athlone. Skelly’s is on Main Street in the centre of the town, with on-street parking along the wide main thoroughfare and further parking on the side streets, though both fill up on a market evening. Coming from Dublin, take the M4 to Kinnegad then the N52 and N55, roughly two hours. Bus Eireann services on the Athlone to Longford corridor stop in Ballymahon.
