Aindrais De Staic and the Latchikos at Edward J. Valentine's

At Edward J. Valentine's · 65 Main Street, Longford Town, Co. Longford, N39 K5T8

Comedy and storytelling night at Edward J. Valentine's bar in Longford town

What to Expect

Aindrais De Staic brings his mix of storytelling, comedy, music and spoken word to Edward J. Valentine’s on Longford’s Main Street on Saturday 24 October 2026, running from 8pm to 11.30pm. The Visit Longford listing describes a set built from original songs, colourful stories, humour and musicianship rather than a straight stand-up hour, with improvisation and audience participation folded in as the night goes on. It is billed as suited to adults and older teenagers.

He is joined by the Latchikos, whose playing pulls from Balkan, Roma, Irish and world music traditions, so the evening moves between spoken passages and full band sections. The show is part of Samhain in the Heartlands, the Longford and Westmeath Home of Halloween programme that runs across both counties through October, and it shares a box office with the other ticketed events on that programme. Edward J. Valentine’s is a bar venue rather than a theatre, so seating is limited and the room fills from the front.
