At Bee Park Resource Centre · New Line, Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim, F91 HCD9
Leitrim Sports Partnership runs a six-week Boxercise programme at Bee Park Resource Centre in Manorhamilton, meeting on Tuesday evenings from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. The classes are taken by Dearbhla Rooney and are set up as a fun and active hour of physical activity rather than a competitive boxing session.
Boxercise borrows the pad work, footwork and conditioning drills of a boxing gym and turns them into a group fitness class, so there is no sparring and no contact between participants. Sessions are booked through Eventbrite in advance, and each Tuesday date is usually listed separately, so check the current listing for the next open session and the fee. The programme is one of several community activity blocks the Sports Partnership runs out of Bee Park through the year, alongside its walking, running and outdoor programmes elsewhere in the county. Come in trainers and comfortable gym clothing and bring water.
