A Night at the Musicals takes over the Corn Mill Theatre in Carrigallen for a Saturday evening of songs from stage musicals, running from 8pm to 10pm. The Corn Mill is a purpose-built theatre and arts centre run by the Corn Mill Theatre Group on Main Street in the village, and it has been the main performance venue for this corner of south Leitrim and the neighbouring Cavan borderlands for years.

The theatre’s own listing for the night carries the poster and the admission price rather than a full running order, so the programme is not published in advance. Getting There

Carrigallen sits in the south-east corner of County Leitrim close to the Cavan border, roughly fifteen kilometres from Ballinamore and a similar distance from Mohill. The Corn Mill Theatre is on Main Street in the middle of the village, so it is easy to find once you are in Carrigallen, and there is on-street parking along Main Street plus space near the theatre itself. There is no rail service to the village. Coming from Dublin, the usual route is the N3 to Cavan and then across on regional roads; from Carrick-on-Shannon, head for Mohill and follow the signs for Carrigallen. Local Link operates limited rural bus services in this part of the county, so check timetables well ahead for an evening show.
