Lemoncello play The Dock in Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday, 14 November 2026, with an 8pm start.
Lemoncello are an Irish duo, singer-songwriter Laura Quirke and cellist and arranger Claire Kinsella, whose sound has been called direct, refreshing and cathartic, building the intimate atmosphere The Dock says resonates with audiences. The show tours their new album Perfect Place, which moves on from the duo’s folk-influenced earlier work by bringing in electronic elements, synths and percussion alongside their organic sound, in what the venue calls a bold new chapter for the band. The record works through what The Dock describes as the modern tension between togetherness and alienation and the chaos of human nature, met with radical acceptance and compassion, told through personal storytelling. It follows their acclaimed self-titled debut, which picked up recognition from BBC Radio 6 Music, Clash and The Line of Best Fit, and this Dock date brings that new material to a Leitrim audience.
The Dock is on St. George’s Terrace, Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim, N41 T2X2. Free parking is available by the marina, with an electric vehicle charging point at Leitrim County Hall, and both Bus Éireann and Irish Rail run services into the town from Dublin and Sligo.
Carrick-on-Shannon is Leitrim’s county town, where the Shannon widens into the marina, with pubs and restaurants close to The Dock, including Cryan’s Teach Ceoil for traditional music if the night runs on after the show. More on Carrick-on-Shannon and Co. Leitrim.
