At Moat Theatre · Abbey Road, Naas, Co. Kildare
Legends of American Country plays the Moat Theatre on Sunday 13 September 2026, a touring production that works through the catalogues of Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and other names from the classic and contemporary country canon. The show uses a live band, period costume and full staging rather than a stripped-back singer-and-guitar format.
The production bills itself as Europe’s leading country tribute and says it has played to more than 350,000 people and gathered over 2,000 five-star reviews across its touring history. Country has a long and genuine following in Ireland, and Kildare venues programme it regularly: the Moat also has Gerry Guthrie on 27 September and Dominic Kirwan on 1 November in the same season. This date follows the Elvis and The Way It Was Orchestra show on the Saturday night, making it the second half of a music weekend at the venue. Tickets are €30 plus a booking fee, sold through the theatre’s Ticketsolve system.
Naas is off the M7, about 35 km south-west of Dublin, and signposted from the motorway. The Moat Theatre is on Abbey Road, a short walk from the town’s main street, with public car parking nearby. Regular buses run between Dublin city centre and Naas, and Sallins and Naas railway station on the Dublin Heuston commuter line is roughly 4 km from the theatre. Sunday public transport is lighter than weekday service, so check timetables before travelling.
