The 26th annual Shackleton Autumn School runs from 16 to 18 October 2026 at the Shackleton Experience on Emily Square, Athy, with lectures, workshops and screenings on polar exploration.
Programme dates: 2026-10-16 to 2026-10-18.
Start time: Opening 16 October 19:00; lectures 17 and 18 October from 10:00; consult the dated programme. Admission: EUR 250 full school; EUR 90 Saturday; EUR 70 Sunday; dinner EUR 65.
The dinner is at Clanard Court Hotel, with reception at 19:30 and dinner at 20:00 on 17 October. School-only workshops are not public drop-in events. Confirm individual session and activity booking requirements.
