What to Expect

Inner Pulse runs a monthly sound bath at The Treatment Room on the Maynooth Business Campus, with the next date Sunday 23 August 2026. There are two sittings on the day, one at 11.30am and one at 2pm, each running 90 minutes with doors 15 minutes beforehand.

The session opens with guided breathing, then moves into live acoustic sound played on gongs, singing bowls, chimes and other instruments. Participants lie down and receive the sound rather than doing anything with it, so no experience or technique is required and nobody is asked to perform. The organisers cap the group at nine people, which is unusually small and is the main thing that distinguishes it from the larger hall-based sound baths run elsewhere; the space stays quiet and there is room to actually lie flat. The organisers describe it as a session for people who need a real pause, and it repeats monthly, so if this date does not work the next one will come round.

Getting There

Maynooth Business Campus is on the Straffan Road side of Maynooth, a short drive or a brisk walk from the town centre. By car, leave the M4 at junction 7 for Maynooth and follow signs for the town, then the business campus; there is parking on site. Maynooth railway station, on the Dublin Connolly to Sligo line, is roughly 15 minutes’ walk away, which makes the train workable from Dublin, Leixlip and Kilcock. Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann routes also serve Maynooth from the city centre and from Celbridge and Leixlip.
